Since then, JK Tyre has been a leader in the domestic market and is a dominant player in the O.E. segment with approval of supplies to almost all OEMs including Tata Motors, Ashok Leyland, Eicher, Bharat Benz, AMW, Volvo, etc. In 2013, JK Tyre achieved another milestone for being the first tyre company to have 5 Million truck tyres on Indian roads.


JK Tyre and Industries is the only tyre company having two plants of all steel truck and bus tyres in India. One plant at Mysore, Karnataka and the latest new ultra-modern plant at Chennai, Tamil Nadu.

JK Tyre is also the first company in India to export all steel truck radials (both – with tube and tubeless) to more than 80 countries worldwide – including to USA, UK, Australia, Gulf countries and South American countries. The company is also accredited with:

  • GCC certificate for exports to Gulf countries.
  • E mark certificate for exports to European countries.
  • DOT certificate for export to America.
  • In Metro certificate for exports to Brazil.
