Leadership and competency development is an integral part of JK Tyre’s learning culture, helping achieve a competitive advantage both organically and inorganically.
To achieve this goal, JKO’s Leadership Competency Model has been designed & developed specifically considering our business context, business challenges, values, culture and ethos, by the world renowned consultancy Aon Hewitt.

Hari Shankar Singhania Elastomer & Tyre Research Institute (HASETRI) is India's first and foremost independent Research and Testing Center (Part of RPSCoE - Mysore), which fulfills the Nation's need for developing newer and better technologies for Elastomer and Tyre.
The primary goal of this institute is to foster development and evolution of new technologies for Rubber and Allied Industries, for domestic and international markets and also to develop technical manpower for the Rubber & Allied industry in the Asia Pacific Region.
This Institute was established in October 1991 as an independent Research and Testing Laboratory, to cater to the needs of rubber and allied industries at the National and International level. It is recognized under SIRO (Scientific and Industrial Research Organization) by the Department of Scientific & Industrial Research (DSIR), Govt. of India and also acknowledged by the Indian Institute of Technology (IITs) and other universities for registration, leading to higher studies for M.Tech and Ph.D. HASETRI is engaged in providing education and training to people engaged in Rubber & Allied Industries in India for students appearing for DIRI/PGD-IRI examinations conducted by Rubber Technology Centre, IIT Kharagpur.
